for a suggested donation of P1,200 inclusive of all classes!

The GlobalMala Project (www.globalmala.org) is uniting yoga, service
and collective action. The purpose of the project is to bring the
global yoga community together from every continent, school and
approach to form a "mala around the earth" through collective practices
based upon the sacred cycle of 108 (108 Surya Namaskar, Mantra, Kriya,
Meditation).

This will take place on Sept. 21st and 22nd, Fall Equinox and UN
International Peace Day in a diversity of communities. The funds raised
from this celebration will go to organizations devoted to three of the
most essential issues of our times:

* Global warming (Trees for the Future)
* Children refugees of war (War Child)
* HIV/AIDS (YouthAIDS)

The spirit of GlobalMala is not to create yet another event, with more
administration and extra work, but to inspire and turn to the source of
yoga to educate, inspire and bring people together to act on the most
critical issues facing individuals, the collective community and the
world - all of creation.
Action doesn't have to be a struggle.

So far, GlobalMala events will be happening in Hong Kong, Manila,
Tokyo, Seattle, Denver, New York, Munich, London, Los Angeles, and San
Francisco. Invitations are being made to studios, centers and ashrams
all over the world including Root schools and centers in India from the
Yoga Mandiram in Chennai to Amma’s ashram in Kerala.
